On March 19th, the first "Top Ten Virtuous Mothers" selection event press conference in Jiujiang City was held at the Chinese Virtuous Mother Garden in our county. Attending the press conference were Chen Zeran, Deputy Director of the Municipal Propaganda Department and Director of the Municipal Civilization Office, Rong Jun, Deputy Director of the Municipal Propaganda Department, Qiu Liming, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Women's Federation, Li Qing, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee, Zhang Nan, a member of the County Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, and Yu Liqing, the Deputy County Head. At the press conference, Chen Zeran introduced the relevant information of the first "Top Ten Virtuous Mothers" selection and commendation event in Jiujiang City, and Li Qing introduced the cultural connotation and tourism characteristics of the Chinese Virtuous Mother Garden. It is understood that this event is jointly hosted by the Municipal Propaganda Department, the Municipal Civilization Office, the Municipal Women's Federation, Jiujiang Daily, Jiujiang Radio and Television Station, the Jiujiang County Committee, and the People's Government of Jiujiang County, with the theme of "Promoting excellent traditional culture and showcasing the demeanor of contemporary virtuous mothers." It aims to create a fervor for learning and promoting the culture of virtuous mothers throughout the city, to discover more contemporary virtuous mothers who are considerate of the overall situation, have a broad vision, are adept at educating their children, and convey positive energy, and to inspire people to strive for the realization of the Chinese Dream. The event will run from March 8 to May 11 (Mother's Day), with the recommendation and submission period from March 8 to April 8, the public announcement and voting period from April 8 to May 10, and the commendation will be held on Mother's Day, May 11. During this period, 40 candidates will be publicized in the media and on websites, subject to social supervision and voting, and the first "Top Ten Virtuous Mothers" and "10 Nominee Award Recipients" will be selected in the end.
